ALB-GOLD is a traditional family-owned company located in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany. The company’s headquarters is situated in Southern Germany on the Swabian Alb – between the Black Forest, the city of Stuttgart and Lake Constance. This area is the home of the Swabian spaetzle and the cradle of pasta-making in Germany.

Our extensive organic pasta assortment features a variety of options to suit every taste. From traditional Italian pasta made with durum wheat semolina to specialty egg pasta crafted from semolina and eggs, and locally grown spelt pasta, we have something for everyone.

ALB-GOLD is one of Germany’s organic pioneers in pasta production. Over the past 30 years, we have developed an extensive range of organic fresh and dried pastas. Optimizing the quality of our products to meet our customers' demands is our daily challenge. Transparency in food production and throughout the entire supply chain is an important component of our philosophy. Our production site in Trochtelfingen features glassed-in facilities.
All our pastas are manufactured transparently so that anyone taking a tour through our production can see how they are made.

High-quality raw materials
ALB-GOLD pasta is made using high-quality raw materials. The foundation of our pasta is the finest durum wheat semolina and regionally grown spelt, an ancient grain. Our egg pasta is produced with free-range chicken eggs.
Our raw material suppliers are crucial to us – for years, we have worked closely with the farmers and millers who provide our eggs and grains. This close collaboration ensures that we use the best quality products available on the market.
modern Technology and quality standards
Today, thanks to our modern production lines, we can produce up to 50 tons (110,000 pounds) per day. Despite our advanced technology, we have never lost sight of the quality of hand-made pasta – and you can taste the difference!
Our employees work diligently to produce the best pasta possible, adhering to our motto: “everyone is responsible for the highest pasta quality.” All production lines are meticulously monitored and recorded. Quality is our top priority, and we adhere to the latest international quality standards to ensure it. Several ALB-GOLD products have received the "Golden Award of Quality"!
Consumers often can’t determine the origin of their food or where and how it was produced. That is why ALB-GOLD created its Customer Center – to give people the opportunity to look behind the scenes with a live tour of our glassed-in production facility.
The guided tour shows you where the raw materials come from, how the eggs are cracked, and how the pasta is shaped, dried, and packaged. Hosted by dietitians and other highly trained employees, the tour offers answers to any questions you may have.
The Customer Center includes the ALB-GOLD “Landmarkt” – a regional delicacy store. It is a delightful place to find dozens of different pasta shapes and other specialties from our region. Opposite our Customer Center, you’ll find an approximately five-acre herb garden. Over 1,000 varieties of plants crown this uniquely designed landscape garden, arranged into 20 different theme areas.
After your tour, we invite you to dine at the ALB-GOLD Restaurant SONNE, where you can enjoy delicious dishes made with our high-quality pasta and other regional ingredients.
